phpBB version 3 now installed 6/05/08

I have upgraded the bulletin board software to version 3. Its at a new address so please follow the link (the old board has been disabled). Yes, its the default "skin" for now so won't look right. The whole site is undergoing a re-design and will get the new banner and menu shortly (so theres no point me doing the old one).

Marin Rough Ride 2008 - Sunday, June 8th 2008 3/05/08

www.roughride.co.uk

(Press Release) Just to let you know;

Things are moving on with the Marin Rough Ride. In line with the other independents such as the Hell of the North and the Dyfi Enduro, entries are well up this year, 40% in fact. Marin have donated a bike as a spot prize for an under 18 entry. There are also loads of other spot prizes from them and Toroloco, Dialled, Hope, Rough Ride Guides, Trekitt, Carradice and Agisko.

The Roughride has never been run as a race so everyone has the same chance of winning something whenever they finish.

Sportident are managing the timing system, so everyone will have an exact time for their ride, downloadable immediately they finish.

The route has been tweaked to keep it fresh for our many regulars.

I've been asked to plug Trailbrakes:

.

We are a small, specialist company based in South West Scotland who run trips throughout Scotland. We are offering a 10% discount to groups of 2 to 5 people or a free place for the organiser of groups of 6 or more!

We have both guided and self guided options available for the ultimate flexibility for your trip, just drop me a line with the dates that suit and we'll do the rest. We can do trips from 2 days to week long epics and flexibility is the key to our success.

Active members of our own local club we wanted to set a discounted rate for other club members throughout the country to come and experience some world class mountain biking, great hospitality, local food (and no doubt a few ales) in Scotlands Biking Heaven.

We have a trailblazing coast to coast, a unique West Highland trip and exciting new routes from Newcastle to Edinburgh! Please take a look at the Trailbrakes website www.trailbrakes.co.uk and check out the holidays section to see what you think.

If you or anyone else from your club have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me on the above email address or 07922 653327.

Hope to see you on the trails soon!

Kind regards

Pete Corson
